“ Imagine yourself there now….it’s about 7.30pm on saturday 19th october 1998. it’s freezing cold in the stoney, uncarpeted salford practice-room which will be knocked down mere months later on the false promise of a ski-slope (which, of course, is EXACTLY what salford needs its money spending on). it’s raining doggies and moggies outside (gambler is still out there banging on the window at this point). the band doesn’t know what it’s doing, but fucking loves it anyway.
